So I have been working a ton and have had a lot on my plate. I have barely found time to go to the bathroom let alone do this, until now; and thanks to stress I seem incapable of going to the bathroom – which means I can actually do this instead.
This new job is such a double edge sword. On the one hand I get an excuse to get dressed and put on my war paint – My pajamas and couch if capable of feelings, would be grateful for the vacation from my ass. On the other hand, I almost never see James but in passing and am so overstretched right now that I feel a little useless.
My body is showing the stress. Lately I need to take a pill to fall asleep and one to help me wake up in the morning. I need a pill to get me to poop and sometimes one to make me stop that too! Over all I am just wiped.
I am stressed about how we will pay for this wedding. I got this job so that I may save up for it but I am not getting the hours that I want – mind you I now am wondering how I would function with more than I have right now.
Before I met James I worked about 70 hours a week – and I loved it. Now I do 20 and I feel like someone mopped the floor with me.
I need to make a list of things to do.
1. Study for an exam I have coming up by reading through units 1,3,and 4 – since I lost unit 2 somehow.
2. Finish part of my training booklet for work this week.
3. Call people from work about a surprise party for my boss (who is expecting – which is hard to watch each day given my inability to keep anything alive in my uterus for longer than a trimester).
4. Clean up our bedroom which has become a dumping ground for everything in the house we don’t have a place for.
5. Find my tax papers.
6. Print our wedding invitations.
7. Finish planning a stag and doe.
8. Meet up with the DJ to discuss music.
9. Motivate James to book an appointment with the jeweler and someone regarding his tux.
10. Take my dress back in because there is something wonky with the zipper.
11. Book a hair dresser.
12. Book a hotel for the night before (where all the bridesmaids are staying).
13. Motivate James to book a hotel for us the night of.
14. Get a cake order in.
15. About a million other things I can’t even think of at the moment.
You get the idea. Anyone want to get married in my place??
