So for those of you who are new to the scene or who join late here is a recap of things to date:
1. I am a 20 something pilots wife(ish).
2. James (the pilot) and I met when I was 19 and he was 23. I worked for the airlines and he was a new flight instructor – he was supposed to be my flight instructor. We made love more than we did flight lessons .
3. I never did get my pilots license, but I did get preggo after about a year.
4. Our daughter is 2 and a bit now.
5. We have tried our hand at making another little munchkin and resulted in 3 miscarriages, the last in January. After that we figured we would do what we had wanted to do since we met but never really thought we could afford to. We have set the date for July 30 of this summer.
6. With this wedding fast approaching I decided to get a job to help save up.
7. He flies about 2 days a week doing cargo. I work about 5 days a week in retail. Bleck.
8. I have some things I want to accomplish this year.
Things I want to get accomplished:
1. Get a school course done that I have put off for over 5 years. The final exam date has been set for this weekend.
2. Lose about 15 lbs prior to the wedding.
3. Get through the wedding.
4. Get pregnant and have a successful pregnancy.
5. Write the ATC exams.
6. Pay off about 35,000 worth of debt.
That’s pretty much me in a nutshell.
Personality things:
1. I am exceptionally stubborn. It can make me seem very ugly at times.
2. I am very insecure. I need constant affection and love from my significant other.
3. I have a very high sex drive.
4. I am a huge procrastinator.
5. I am prone to depression.
6. I am a reformed drama queen. I HATE drama. I have realized how much more simple life can be without the drama.
7. I can be very selfish.
8. I can be as generous as I am selfish – what makes me selfish is that I am picky about what I am generous with.
9. I have a huge guilt complex.
10. I am needy.
So now that that is all out there, the next time you hear from me I will be able to just blab.
